Jim has been in the human resource outsourcing business over 25 years, helping a wide range of companies handle human resource issues successfully.  Jim’s clients have ranged in size from 3 to over 250 employees, and cover a wide range of industries.

Jim served 8 years on the National Association of Professional Employers board.  In addition, he was a founding member and first President of the Ohio association, and is often asked to provide input to the Ohio State Worker’s Compensation system.

Jim has a passion for doing things right.  Sometimes that is improving quality, productivity and morale for company owners.   Other times that is solving employee concerns and making the workplace the preferred place to work.

Nancy Sasse specializes in Worker’s Compensation management, and uses her medical background to make certain the effects of accidents are minimized.  Nancy also oversees the hardware and software aspects of office communications.

VP of Sales and Operations

 As Vice President, Connie specializes in Sales & Operations with extensive experience in Human Resources.  She has a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Economics and also has a License in Life and Health Insurance.  

Connie is committed to providing resources that stay current with recent trends and technologies.  By serving as your strategic partner, she will analyze your current program and design a customized program tailored to your business.  Her level of expertise can be advantageous in determining the needs of a company to maximize the return on your investment.   

Connie is dedicated to providing the best customer service to our clients.  As your needs change, she will continue to incorporate best practices that are aligned with your vision to ensure your goals and objectives are met.  

She also gives back to the community and volunteers her time with many organizations.  

 
Carla Hartman
 

Accounting Manager

Carla is an experienced manager in all aspects of payroll, accounting, financial and tax reporting.  She is degreed in Accounting and has been with HR Systems for 15 years.  

She is instrumental in the set-up of each new client.  Whether you need help with obtaining your Workers’ Comp and/or Unemployment account, Carla will see that you have everything correctly in place.  This includes setting the parameters for your payroll, taxes and reports.  Her level of expertise helps our clients remain in compliance and limits liability from fines and penalties.  

In addition, Carla can help with your Benefits and COBRA Administration.  This includes deductions, status changes and remittances.  Her dedication and high quality customer service attitude ensure our clients receive the level of service that they have come to expect.  
 

 
Constance Huguelet
 

Payroll Manager

Constance serves as our Payroll Manager and works directly with our clients to ensure that all payroll checks are processed accurately and in a timely manner.  She is degreed in Accounting and is proficient with all facets of payroll including various accounting software.

Her attention to detail is first and foremost especially when entering new employees into the system.  This includes all pay rates, deductions, employee personal information as well as any status changes.  By utilizing the services of HR Systems, Constance also checks for compliance to verify that employees are being paid correctly under the Fair Standards Labor Act.  She will calculate over-time, bonuses and any other wage adjustments to confirm that employees are paid correctly.

Constance is always available for questions and changes that need to be made at the last minute before processing a payroll.  Her “can do” attitude is what sets our company apart from our competition.  With HR Systems you always have the comfort knowing that you have the same person that knows the employees and questions if something doesn’t look quite right.  She is also available to assist your employees with any questions they may have regarding their check.  Your employees work hard and they deserve to be paid right the first time, every time.  Let Constance streamline the process for you too.

Amy Fischer
 

HR Manager

Amy has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration along with 15+ years of experience as an HR Manager.  She has an extensive background in Government Compliance, Supervisor Training & Development.  This includes but is not limited to on-boarding, orientations and identifying further education and specific training needs.

 She has a very strong customer service attitude and excels in the field of improving employee relations.   Amy’s keen ability in providing assistance and counselling to both managers and their employees, fosters relationship building and engagement of staff.

 Amy’s background includes all aspects in recruitment and hiring as well as staff training and labor relations.  These broad talents have been developed through her years working both public and private corporations, state and county governmental organizations, as well as union and non-union environments.
